An artist known for his versatility, musical intentionality, and enthusiasm, Jake Gabriszeski is a drummer, composer, music producer, and award-winning educator based in Boston, MA. Hearing the sounds of drums and rock 'n' roll through the floor of his childhood home, Jake fell in love with music at an early age and followed in his father's footsteps by taking up the drums. Now, whether performing for 5,000 people at the Boston FIFA Fan Fest 2026 or teaching his drum set students through Berklee City Music, Jake seeks to inspire others, share his passion, and simply make great music.
The drumming powerhouse behind groups such as Universal Union (blues/funk/soul), Boston Modern Big Band (jazz), Targus Targus (synthwave/VGM), and The Oddlot (funk), Jake brings authentic raw energy and dynamic chemistry to every performance. He was recently recruited by acclaimed blues guitarist Troy Mercy to push the next stage of Mercy's career.
Bridging his passion for music and gaming, Jake's work can be heard everywhere from the immersive gaming venue Boda Borg Boston to Wizards of the Coast's official online content. As an educator, Jake draws from his diverse experiences to cultivate his students' overall musicianship and inspire them to become lifelong learners which for which he won the Manilow Music Award in 2025.
